Now in it’s 18th season (670 plus shows and counting ) BILL HEFFERNAN hosts and performs the First and Last Saturday of each month at the Saturday Sessions 5pm-8pm, at the Inter Steer Tavern, 357 Roncesvalles Avenue, featuring some of Toronto’s finest musicians in the Singer-Songwriter/ Folk, Roots, Blues and Alt Country traditions.  

Recent road trips have seen Heffernan grace stages as diverse as the Starlight Theatre in Terlingua Texas, the Wee Folk Club, at the Royal Oak in Edinburgh Scotland, and the famed Casa de Trova in Santiago Cuba, Porchfest in Van Kleek Hill, Ontario, Tacos Inferno, Managua Nicaragua.

Recent performances on line during the pandemic have included a number of benefit and charity gigs including the Shine Music Bursary for Youth, Fred Victor-Songs for Food & Shelter, Henry VIII Alehouse-Christmas Toy Drive and Ocean Crossings for the Roscommom Hospice, Ireland. 

Lastly, Bill Heffernan is excited to announce the upcoming  GordFest '23 festival in honour of late local Roncesvalles guitar legend, Gord Goodwin. The festival will take place Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, April 30th on Roncesvalles Avenue at The Inter Steer and The Local respectively. More information to come...
